Panopticlick is a research project that investigates and analyses how well your browser and add-ons protect you against online tracking techniques. By gathering information about the configuration and version information from your operating system, your browser, and your plugins, and comparing it to the database of many other Internet users’ configurations, it is possible to generate a uniqueness score letting you see how easily identifiable you might be as you surf the web.
