Data Dealer is a video game about collecting and selling personal data created as a nonprofit project by a group of digital rights activists and game designers in Austria. It aims to raise awareness about online privacy issues and surveillance through the interactive exploration of personal data ecosystem. Players take on the role of “data dealers”, collect personal data all over the internet, and learn how to turn this information into cash.
