Advocacy Assembly is a free digital learning website featuring courses for journalists and activists. The website was launched in 2015 by Small Media, who maintain the platform and it’s security. Courses cover various of topics, including guidelines for conducting interviews for investigative journalists, how to do an open-source investigation for human rights, how to research human rights law for advocacy, open data storytelling for journalists and many other. All online multimedia courses are taught by human rights, media, design and data professionals from leading organisations from around the world.
